Organized jointly with the Polish Society of Paediatrics\, it will be held on October 16-19 at the Hilton Hotel\, Warsaw\, Poland. Over many years\, the European Academy of Paediatrics Congress and Mastercourse has gained a distinguished reputation as the event to attend to get an excellent information update\, applicable to day-to-day paediatric clinical practice. Our overarching motto this year\, “Child Health in a Changing World” guides our exciting program focusing on changes in recommended clinical practice\, based on the latest scientific evidence. The scientific committee has appointed renown and highly qualified faculty members that present the latest information in their area of expertise. SUMMARY:7th EURACT Assessment Course
DESCRIPTION:The 7th EURACT Assessment Course will be held on 5th-7th of November 2025 at the Holiday Inn in Thessaloniki\, a smart hotel in the city center\, close to the port and a short walk from the historic old city and some of the most famous historical points of interest. \n \nBackground \nAssessment\, in its functional dimension\, is a core component of a process that aims to cognitively turn learning into performance. But it is not easy to be effectively managed within its own complexity. When assessment is embedded within training and based in the work place\, it becomes a powerful tool providing ways for early identification of performance issues and evidence for relative decision-making. The integration of assessment in the curriculum enhances quality in performance in all different aspects of practice. \nLike teaching and learning needs assessment to be based on a collaborative approach\, promoting the partnership and supporting the interaction within the trainer-trainee relationship where constructive feedback serves a key role. Additional feedback from peers\, patients and other professionals adds value to the assessment process\, protects the relationship and minimalizes the effect of internal bias. \nAvailable and protected time and resources\, detailed plans and documentation\, practicing of adequate methods are crucial for an effective implementation of assessment in the curriculum. Assessors’ evidence-based training and sharing of experiences within established networks is necessary. \nEURACT offers a framework for the establishment and development of international learning and development cultures and structures in GP/FM. The EURACT Assessment course for trainers in Family Medicine is strongly recommended for those interested. SUMMARY:Longevity Assembly‘2026
DESCRIPTION:LSMU tarptautinė mokslinė konferencija „Ilgaamžiškumas 2030: įrodymais pagrįsta medicina sveikam senėjimui“\nLietuva pastaraisiais metais yra tarp sparčiausiai senėjančių Europos Sąjungos valstybių. Šiuo metu daugiau kaip 600 tūkst. gyventojų\, arba apie 20 proc. visuomenės\, yra vyresni nei 65 metų\, o iki 2050 m. ši dalis viršys 30 proc. Tuo pat metu Lietuvoje išlieka viena trumpiausių sveiko gyvenimo trukmių Europos Sąjungoje – apie 64 metus. Ilgaamžiškumo tema šiandien yra ne ateities vizija\, o aktualus dabarties klausimas.
